Image (corrupt?) is killing my site

I have an image which I have attached which is causing my site to crash (endless refresh) if CropUp is used.

The image uploads to the media section fine but if you then reselect the media node the back-end hangs.

Also if the image is on a front end page then that will hang too.

I know it's CropUp because I removed the CropUp property from the 'image' media type and the back-end stopped hanging.

If I open the image in Photoshop and re-save it and then upload that instead, it solves the issue making me think the original file was corrupt in some way.

CropUp shouldn't really kill the site if an image is in bad shape if that's what is happening.

That should be fixed in 1.0β7, what version are you running?

Wait, I was too fast there, I was mixing to bugs. This has nothing to do with the IIS bug fixed in 1.0β7, sorry. Can't delete my comment though it seems .. :P But I have run into it, fixed it the same way you did, but I agree, it really shouldn't.

I'm using the 1.0.0β3 package with Umbraco 6.0.5.

Just had this problem again, same site.
Upgrading to 1.0.0β9 seems to have fixed the issue.
