Way to set jpeg quality for different crop sizes?

description

Is it already possible to specify the jpeg quality level anywhere for different sizes and or crops?
For small crop/image sizes it might be nice to have a smaller compression level or vice versa

Would like that too - would like to crop @ double size for retina resolutions, and then lower the quality to keep the images at the same size (KB-wize).

Because it's using ImageResizer it's possible to use quality=50 in the querystring to an image's original path, but not in the CropUp URLs ...

A config setting for the crops would be great.

@greystate that's an excellent use case

Agreed, if serving 'RETINA' / @2 images, it would make sense to lower the quality.

Maybe there could be a flag that said 'retina', and it handled doubling the width/height and used adding **.@2.jpg into the path, so it could be matched against either client/server side.

Agreed, also looking for quality retina settings.
